Exchange ActiveSync on your iPhone
When you add your Exchange ActiveSync account, you can sync your Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes wirelessly with your iOS device. Step 1
To complete the setup, you will require the following information:
Gather You Information
- Email Address
- Email Password
- Server Address
- Domain Name*
*Note: Domain Name is generally the middle section of your email address, between the @ symbol & the .com section. ie: the domain for “firstname.lastname@example.org” would be “abc”.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Exchange.
Add your Exchange account
Your iOS device will try to find your Exchange Server. You might have to enter additional server information. If required, input the Email Address, Email Password, Server Address & Domain where required (gathered in Step 1).
Connect to the Exchange Server
*Note: Username is either your whole email address or the first section of your email address. ie: “email@example.com” or “matt”.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, select your Exchange account, and tap Account Info. You can also go here to set up automatic out-of-office replies and change how often you want Mail to sync (the default is 7 days).
